ADMISSIONS
With the introduction of the community senior high schools and the free SHS policy, Schools are now at the door step of BECE candidates. It is not however about getting admission for your ward or yourself but is about results after completion. In Golden Step we do not only teach students to past exams but to appreciate life after school. Our tution, feeding, and training sessions are extraordinary. For instance our current students are not just learning ICT to pass it but to actually use it wherever they go.
The caliber of students admitted has an influence on our teaching and results hence we are carefull when admitting. Eceptions are however made for Ghanaian students with poor BECE performance but who are ready and willing to learn.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Ghanaian applicants from Junior High School must obtain good grades in English and Mathematics and with an agregate of 30 or better from the best six subjects (english and maths inclussive). Foreign applicants must present credentials equivalent to the Ghanaian BECE.

The Golden Step Senior High School offers admission to all children of the junior high school-going age in Ghana and beyond who, in the opinion of the school's professionals, can benefit from its well-balanced and rigorous programmes.
Admission is based on the passes of the of the Basic Education Certificate Examination(BECE) examination. Prospective students/pupils are required to. An excellent academic record from previous school. Application fees are not refundable.

COURSES OF STUDY
The school runs a three year Senior Secondary/Senior High course and prepares students to sit for the West African Examination Council Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) in the following disciplines – General Art and Business/commerce.
GSSHS students enter institutions of high education like the universities, polytechnics or (nursing) training colleges after successfully completing the WASSCE.
The Elective subjects in the various disciplines are:
GENERAL ARTS: Government, Geography, History, Economics, Elective Literature.
BUSINESS/COMMERCE: Financial Accounting, Principles of Cost Accounting, Business Management, Economics, Elective Mathematics.
QUALIFICATIONS
PAYMENT OF FEES
Full payment of all the fees and dues as payable by a new student at the time of admission as per the schedule laid down by the school.
Payment shall be made through a bank and pay-in-slip submitted to the school.
Admission will be valid only if the fee is paid in full by the due date along with the necessary documents and certificates as aforementioned and on completion of all formalities.
